Rainwater harvesting rules in Andaman and Nicobar
In the Port Blair municipal area, every building on a plot larger than 100 sq m must have a rainwater harvesting structure. This comes from the Port Blair Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws (Amendment), 2018, in force from 21 Feb 2019. Rural rules notified by the Panchayat department make RWH compulsory for rural buildings too, along the same lines.
