CSR execution partner for infrastructure projects

We build what a company, or the NGO implementing its CSR program, has planned and funded: water conservation works, school buildings, toilets, health units and rural infrastructure. Your CSR team gets photos, costs and milestones at every stage, and documents it can use in its annual CSR report.

Who we build for

  • CSR teams of companies that run projects themselves and need a builder they can audit.
  • NGOs, trusts and Section 8 companies that implement CSR programs and need the construction done well and on time.
  • Company foundations that fund several projects a year across different states.

What we build under Schedule VII

Our work maps to the activities listed in Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013, so each project fits cleanly into your CSR policy and annual action plan.

  • Water conservation: rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge structures, and pond and lake rejuvenation (environmental sustainability and conservation of natural resources).
  • Safe drinking water and sanitation: water treatment units, toilets and handwashing stations.
  • Education: school buildings, new classrooms, repairs and retrofits.
  • Health: health units and upgrades to existing facilities.
  • Rural development: community buildings and village infrastructure.

How a project runs

  1. Site survey and feasibility

GPS-mapped site survey with location-tagged photos. For water projects we check the district's groundwater status first.

  2. DPR, BOQ and budget

A Detailed Project Report, bill of quantities and cost estimate your CSR committee or NGO board can approve.

  3. Execution with live reporting

Daily progress logged from site, weekly and monthly reports with photos, costs and milestones, and alerts when anything slips.

  4. Handover and closure

Completion documents, as-built details and handover to the school, panchayat, NGO or public authority that will own the asset.

What your CSR team receives

  • DPR, BOQ and cost estimate before work starts.
  • Location-tagged photos at every stage, before, during and after.
  • Milestone and cost reports through the project, plus access to a project portal.
  • Bills, material records and measurements kept in one place for audit.
  • Completion and handover documents, with outcome figures (storage created, classrooms built, toilets delivered) for your impact report.

Frequently asked questions

Is TerraSetu an NGO or a CSR implementing agency?

No. TerraSetu is a construction and engineering firm. A company can carry out CSR activities itself or through an implementing agency registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (form CSR-1). Either way, the physical works are contracted to a builder, and that is the part we do.

Which states do you work in?

We execute projects across India and are based in Gurgaon, Haryana.

Can you help us decide where to put a water conservation project?

Yes. Our free groundwater pages show, district by district, where more water is pumped out than rain puts back. We use the same data during site selection.

Can a project run across more than one financial year?

Yes. We can phase the works and the payments to match an ongoing CSR project, so each year's spend lines up with what was built that year.
