For NGOs
A construction partner for NGOs running CSR projects
Many NGOs win CSR funding for programs that need a building, a toilet block or a water structure, but construction is not their core work. We handle the technical and building side, so your team can focus on the community and the program.
What we take off your plate
- The technical part of your CSR proposal: site survey, DPR, BOQ and a cost estimate the donor can check.
- Construction, with our own site teams and quality checks.
- Progress reports in a format your corporate donor can use directly: photos, costs and milestones.
- Bills, measurements and material records kept ready for your audit and utilisation statements.
- Handover documents for the asset owner.
Why it helps your proposal
CSR teams look closely at budgets for infrastructure. A proposal backed by a proper survey and a line-item BOQ is easier to approve than a lump-sum estimate, and it is easier to defend if the donor asks for an impact assessment later.
Your donor can also follow progress on our project portal, which reduces the number of update requests that land on your team.
Before you apply for CSR funds
- Registration with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs using form CSR-1, which gives you a CSR registration number.
- Section 12A and 80G registration under the Income-tax Act, which the revised CSR-1 form asks for.
- An NGO Darpan ID, which many companies ask for during due diligence.
- Audited financial statements and a record of past projects.
Frequently asked questions
Does an NGO need CSR-1 registration to receive CSR funds?
Yes. An NGO, trust, society or Section 8 company that implements CSR projects for a company must be registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs by filing form CSR-1. The form was revised in July 2025 and now also asks for 12A and 80G details.
Can you prepare the DPR and BOQ before the project is funded?
Yes. We can survey the site and prepare the DPR, BOQ and estimate for your proposal. Talk to us about the scope, and we will tell you what the survey involves for your site.
Who signs the contract, the NGO or the company?
It depends on how the donor funds the project. Most often the NGO, as the implementing agency, contracts us for the works. Some companies prefer to contract the builder directly and fund the NGO for the program. We work either way.
