School buildings for CSR teams, NGOs and education departments

We design and build classroom blocks, girls' and boys' toilets, drinking water points and rainwater harvesting for government and trust schools. Each project comes with drawings, a bill of quantities, a 3D model the funder can explore, and photo reports through construction.

A recent design: Government School, Palra

An L-shaped G+1 classroom block in Haryana with 7.3 × 5.4 m classrooms, 2.4 m open verandahs, three staircases and toilet blocks on both floors. Built-up area is 1,127 m² (12,130 sq ft).

The grey structure (excavation, RCC frame, steel, brick walls, plaster, roof drainage and septic tank) is estimated at ₹2.13 crore with 3% contingency and GST, or about ₹18,950 per m² (₹1,760 per sq ft). Frequently asked questions

How much does one classroom cost to build?

A 7.3 × 5.4 m classroom with its share of verandah, stairs and walls is about 90 to 100 m² of built-up area. At ₹18,950 per m² for the structure, that is about ₹17 lakh to ₹19 lakh before finishes, doors, windows and electrical, which typically add 35% to 50%.

Can CSR money be used to build a government school building?

Yes. Promoting education, including school infrastructure, is in Schedule VII. The asset is handed to the school or education department; the company cannot own it. See CSR schools and sanitation.
